  1. Asthma
  2. Success in acquiring a job
  3. Rheumatoid arthritis
  4. Diabetes control
  5. Blood pressure reduction

That’s correct! #4.

All of these have research supporting a positive outcome with journaling. Although it would make intuitive sense that diabetes and blood sugar control would also benefit, there is no data to support this claim. 

My vive. Journaling is one of many ways to create calm in the body through its impact on the “stress hormone”  cortisol. Being able to create calm in the body is a central mechanism in preventing and reversing all chronic diseases.
