My regular healthcare team looks at my test results and says everything looks great. Dr. Bilstrom looks at them and sees lots of cause for concern. He also has answers. I love listening to him explain what's happening in my body. I am quite healthy and haven't been working with him for long, but I watched my grandson be healed from intense juvenile arthritis. That inspired all of us to begin working with him...heading off serious illness before it takes hold.

Dr. Bilstrom saved our son's life. Our son was diagnosed with Childhood Rheumatoid Arthritis at 13 years old. He went from being our healthy, high-energy athlete to being mostly couch-bound, severely anemic, and unable to walk or stand for longer than a few minutes without crippling pain. His knees were the size of softballs and full of fluid and he couldn't straighten his arms or fingers because of his severe joint swelling. He was in so much pain that he begged us to stop trying remedies/NSAIDS and start him on auto-immune drugs. Unfortunately they only made him sicker and even landed him in the hospital with temporary paralysis of his leg. Enter Dr. Bilstrom. We immediately got our son started on supplements through Dr. B to help heal his leaky gut (clearing all the infections and microbiota imbalances present), but hesitated to start the complimentary diet with it because it would "just be too hard." While our son did see some pretty immediate healing, it wasn't until we additionally committed to the diet that we saw REMARKABLE progress. In our son's case we committed to the GAPS diet. Fast-forward to today, nearly 2 years later (2025). Our son no longer has any signs of arthritis!! His rheumatologist wishes he could take credit for his healing, but all he can say is, "Keep doing exactly what you're doing! It's astonishing!" Our son no longer experiences pain, swelling, or morning stiffness in any joints. He plays baseball, flag football, and basketball in organized leagues and is back to being his joyful, energetic, and physically-capable self! It certainly hasn't been an easy journey... And things definitely got worse before they got better (which is an expected part of the healing!) which left me questioning the process time and time again. I only wish I had met more people when we first began that could've reassured me that the challenging days ahead would restore our son's health... and his light. Because of what we've seen Dr. B do with our son, our entire family is planning to see him for in-depth gut analysis and treatment. We're all eager to heal our much smaller issues with his help!
